Mark Carroll joined Design Landscapes in 2008 as our Systems Coordinator. In 2012, Mark was appointed to the position of Compliance Manager for our company leading the compliance and safety aspects of our work sites, developing management systems and auditing tender safety requirements.
With a 30 year background in Quality, Safety and Environment issues in Landscape, Building and Civil construction works, Mark is pleased to see the changes to current legislative requirements and protections instigated under the 2012 Harmonisation Act. He has attained the Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and is a qualified internal auditor driving the company’s compliance.
Mark was instrumental in steering Design Landscapes 3rd Party accreditation for all three components of legislation being Quality, OH&S and Environment inside a short timeframe. Under Mark’s guidance, Design Landscapes continues to improve and implement their management systems structure of AS – NZS 4801-2001 OHS, ISO 14001-2004 EMS and ISO 9001 – 2008 QMR. With several audits under his belt, Mark has been recognised and congratulated by independent auditors on the improvements and implementations taking place on Design Landscapes sites and corporate business.
Tim joined Design Landscapes in 2007 as a Foreman and was appointed to the role of Project Manager in 2012. He holds a Diploma in Project Management as well as a Diploma in Horticulture.
Tim has the ability to conceptualise, build and deliver beautiful landscapes for communities to enjoy. He collaborates with clients and architects to achieve the greatest outcomes possible by experimenting with materials and methodologies. Tim pushes the boundaries of creativity and distinguishes himself as a forward and critical thinker. Balancing commercial requirements with high levels of quality, Tim continually delivers high end residential quality standards on a commercial scale.
Tim’s achievements include site management of the Kamay Botany National Park, Eddie Ward Park, Oatley Road Reserve, Marrickville Waterplay park, Darling Quarter and East Balmain Waterfront projects and overall management of the Carrington Retirement Village where he constructed a 60 metre long water feature. Other projects include Bunya estate maintenance management, Bunya stages 3,4,5 and The Crescent at Parramatta. Tim was awarded the inaugural Future Leader of the Year (2013) by the LNA in recognition of his works and achievements in landscaping.
